SFP FIBER MODULE PERFORMANCE: Connect a copper Cat6a cable to a 1/2.5/5/10 Gbps fiber network router, server or switch. It transmits data up to 98 feet (30 meters) and supports bi-directional Gigabit Ethernet communication up to 10 Gbps. EASY INSTALLATION: Just plug the SFP end of the transceiver into your Cisco network device. The other end has a RJ45 connector to link with high-speed Cat6a patch cable (sold separately). A convenient bail clasp latch helps you carefully remove the module from the device. PREMIUM FEATURES: Fully hot-swappable input/output can be installed without a potentially costly 1G/2.5G/5G/10G network shutdown or device reboot. Auto-sensing RJ45 port supports auto-negotiation and automatic MDI/MDI-X crossover to match the other end of the connection.
