Founded in 2016 by three friends after a broken leg and a broken nose making whisky barrels — hence the honest name. SOFT PEAT, SMOKED ALMONDS, MOCHA & PEAR FINISH – Nose: soft peat with hints of ginger, curry, smoked almonds, putty and rich pistachio cream. Palate: delicate smoky phenols, sweet barley, gentle tannins, biscuity framework. Finish: smoky mocha, smoked almonds, green tea, soot and demerara sugar with a slightly salty aftertaste and touches of pear. Sip neat at room temperature, or with a single drop of spring water.
