The Cokin NX System is designed to work with super-wide-angle lenses up to 16mm wide and hold a dedicated circular polarizer and (2) 100mm wide square or rectangular filters without vignetting or darkening of the corners. Additionally. 2 new adapter rings have been engineered to allow the NX system to work with the Sony 14mm f1.8 GM lens and the Nikkor Z 14-24mm f2.8 S lens with little to no vignetting.Unlike other systems. Cokin designers took a different route and engineered a thin but strong aluminum holder that maximizes functionality in the least amount of space while using common 100mm wide filters like Cokin’s Nuances Extreme Neutral Density series. The NX Holder cleverly houses the dedicated all-glass NX Circular Polarizer within the skeletal frame. yet is easy to mount and remove without touching the glass. Polarization is controlled by spinning a wheel on the outside of the holder. This means the polarizer does not add extra bulk to the system when it is used.Next. they opted to eliminate the traditional filter slots that waste space between filters for micro ball-bearings on the inside of the holder. These bearings are precisely positioned to accept the small grooves on the sides of the NX filter frames designed exclusively for the NX system. The all-aluminum. lightweight NX filter frames provide two specific benefits:- They protect the sides and corners of your glass filters and allow you to handle them without touching the glass.- They make it possible to stack the filters directly on top of each other which reduces bulk and prevents stray light reflections.All of these carefully considered design elements allow photographers to use 100mm wide filters with the most popular super-wide angle lenses from Sony. Canon. Nikon. Fuji and Olympus without vignetting.

This is a Spare Parts Kit for Cokin EVO and CREATIVE filter-holders and includes various nuts screw spacers and slots.The pair of slots can be used to accommodate a square or rectangular filter along the front of each compatible filter holder. Cokin EVO Aluminium Filter Holders can also utilise the slots at the rear of their back plate for attachment to a (separately available) Cokin adapter ring which connects a Cokin filter holder to the front of a lens.If placed between the back plate of a Cokin EVO Aluminium Filter Holder and a pair of slots along its front the spacers enable the use of a 4mm thick square or rectangular filter. Whether configured with or without spacers the 25mm long screws hold a Cokin EVO Aluminium Filter Holder's components together and are each locked in place with a retaining nut.Similarly the 30mm screws are intended for use with a Cokin Z-Pro Series Filter Holder. However they can also be installed on a Cokin EVO Aluminium Filter Holder allowing it to accommodate an additional 2mm thick filter beyond the maximum number of filter configurations permitted with the 25mm long screws.
