PROUD OF OUR ORIGIN: This Rhum Agricole Ambré, is the result from the distillation of pure sugarcane juice, matured 12 to 24 months in oak casks. It is an "amber" rum with an “Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée” (Controlled Designation of Origin), a testimony itself of its quality. OUR PROCESS: The sugarcane juice, called "Vésou" fermented for 24 to 36 hours in open-air vats at the distillery. The wine obtained by fermenting pure sugarcane juice, is then distilled at 75° maximum (according to Martinique AOC rules ) in order to maintain a maximum of aromas and then rests for 1 to 2 years in oak vats at Habitation Clément. TASTING NOTES: This Rhum Agricole matured in oak reveals woody, vanilla, honeyed and fruity notes with hints of figs and dates. It is really noted for a very good roundness on the palate. BEST SERVE: Rhum Ambré Clément can be enjoyed in short or long drinks and will bring a superb roundness to your ti’punch.
