The 360° circular heat of the 45 cm reflector parasol is noticeable over an area of 10 m². Unlike traditional convectors, the IR 1550 SC heats the skin directly, not the ambient air. The particularly pleasant infrared heat is absorbed and stored directly by the skin. Thanks to this principle of action, the IR 1550 SC heats up noticeably more intensely and more energy efficient than other heating technologies, without unpleasant odors or noises. The light heating of approximately 3.5 kg is attached to the ceiling with four steel fixing ropes (tension wire) included. A tight mesh grid protects the heating bars from children's curious fingers and accidental contact.
