Printer, fax machine and external hard drive as important laptop accessories

If you want your laptop to become a small office with a little accessories, you can connect a printer, a fax machine and an external hard drive. Additional storage is needed when the laptop's hard drive is too small or when data needs to be kept strictly separate. These devices are usually connected via USB. Therefore, it should be checked before purchase whether the laptop has enough ports available. Otherwise, you will need a USB hub (docking station) that divides one port into several. The laptop accessories are connected to the computer's operating system via a so-called driver.
