The Einhell TC-TS 254 U bench-type circular saw is a high-performance tool for performing precise and flexible work. The 1,800 W bench-type circular saw has a maximum cutting height of 55 mm at 45° or 80 mm when the angle is set to 90°. The upgraded, sturdy parallel stop enables precise longitudinal cuts to be performed, and for effortless angle cuts the angle stop or the tilting saw blade can be used. The cross stop can also be used as an angle stop for +/- 45°. The sturdy side tables enable the support surface to be enlarged for wide workpieces. Vacuum cleaner connections are integrated on the housing and saw blade guard. The powerful motor is designed to handle intensive and difficult jobs, for effortlessly tackling thicker pieces of wood as well. The sturdy base frame is set up for a comfortable working height of 870 mm. The first one turned up in a smashed box with parts broken inside. The second one turned up with with a smashed box but fortunately the saw was not broken, clearly these guys have some packing problems. The saw itself cannot cut...View More a straight line no matter how much time you put into the fence or guiding, there is a fundamental problem with the blade, mounting or overall construction. If you need some to simply cut a piece of wood it's fine but if you need an sort of accurate cut go elsewhere.View Less

This was advertised as grade A refurbished but idon’t t think it’s ever been used.Box was tatty but everything inside was still in factory packaging. It’s easy to assemble and may not be the best quality but you get what you pay...View More for. Im quite happy with it as it’s just for diy projects. If you’re a professional builder you may need something a bit more heavy duty.View Less

I ordered this saw in a “used, like new” condition due to the good offer price, so, some eventual little issues were already considered during the order phase.
Anyway, the package itself was not in the best conditions, and the...View More bottom plastic guards were broken as per pics.
I am a diy lover, so i fixed by myself the broken parts.
The gear for the blade inclination was not in the correct position, and the sprocket was not touching the gear, i had to shim the top plate of around 10mm to makeView Less

There was a part broken and couldn’t replace it but gave me a discount so all good as managed to fix it myself with a trip to tool station
