I have a recycleded HP DL360 G7 rack mount server with a powered sata connector on the system board that was intended for use with a DVD drive. This cable allowed me to add a Samsung SSD in place of the DVD drive and not loose a...View More raid drive bay for the SSD. I was also able to use the SSD as the boot drive thanks to this adapter.View Less
