Maximum safety - When pressure is applied to the hand guard, the chain brake is released and stops the chain immediately. A chain catch pin ensures safety if the chain jumps off. This is a great little chainsaw for small jobs around the garden or cutting up kindling for the fire.
Pro's - lightweight, easy to handle, quiet, not too aggressive for the novice user (compared to petrol powered)
Con's...View More - Will struggle with anything more than 5" diameter and use a lot of batteries in doing so. I went through 3 batteries trying to cut up a decent sized log.
