The saw was cutting the plastic blade cover. So on first use it broke and that’s the end of that and £174. I thought Markita were quality.

I am a huge fan of Makita products so it was quite a shock to find it so tedious to use. I paid over the odds because it was a genuine Makita product so to say I was disappointed was real understatement.
It obviously has some...View More cut out mechanism which meant it was virtually impossible to use without having to stop start the whole time. The chain was forever getting slack too.
Overall would I buy another one…. Definitely not.
I did have a cheap one half the price of this one and I would say it wasView Less

I’ve tried using this on a number of occasions, always on sensibly-sized twiglets.
Upon first use, I had immediately discovered that whatever is being cut in the photos and videos...View More certainly doesn’t grow in a British garden.
Dried Balsa wood would be my guess.
You’ll spend more time dismantling, un-jamming, assembling…. dismantling again because the chain is jammed… than you will using it.
The *only* reason I bought this Makita model is because all myView Less
