This is a fantastic piece of kit. Light, well balanced, easy to use and powerful.
I have lots of hedges and laurels that need trimming. This went through them like knife through butter. I can't stress how sharp it is.
It has...View More a nice reverse feature and the only criticism is that the safety cutout timer is over zealous. Which probably is a good thing, it just means you have to remember to press the power button before your next cut. Once you get used to it, it becomes second nature.

Did a load of research to decide what would replace my petrol pole trimmer.
It's not cheap but it's just worth every penny. I already have a lot of makita 18v kit so batteries were not a problem. The adjustable head was...View More it weak part but as long as your sensible with it and dont abuse the locking system I cant see it being a problem at all. Great bit of kit.View Less

Cost quite a bit more than my previous ones but the difference in cutting strength and quality was enormous.I won't be buying any other type than this, they're perfect.
