I had a Makita lawnmower before and some other tools, so had the batteries, this is why I purchased this one as my old Makita had died.
Never would I buy this lawnmower again. For some reason it just doesn’t kick the cut grass...View More back into the collection bag. (Yes, I have taken the mulching tool out.) I have to stop every few seconds and manually toss the grass from the blades into the bag, which is not practical.
It cuts lovely, but just leaves trails of cut grass on the lawn which looks terrible.View Less

Had these removed for sharpening in a V-notch knife sharpener and managed to cut 50 square meters of 12 inch high overgrown lawn in four...View More passes with 50% charge of a 5Ah Makita 18V battery remaining, and grass levelled to 50mm. Like the easy cutting height adjusting lever that starts at level 8 or 75 mm. Battery powered means no mains lead to move out the way or worrying about accidental chopping.View Less

Charge lasts for 130ft by 25ft lawn with 5amp battery fully charged (note, does need to be new battery, some old ones don't last for the whole lawn, also with...View More newer battery, can notice higher rev out put for blade so cuts better. Reason why got this mower was, lighter at 12.5kg due to back instead of 18kg with a bigger more powerful motor.View Less
