This guitar, considering the price is a good deal. The one I bought (directly from Fender) had some problems that were easily fixed, but a beginner might not know how or what to do, or who to have fix them. The one I received...View More had:
1. Fret sprout/sharp fret edges (I filed them down and all are smooth now)
2. Wat too high action (my luthier fixed this)
3. Unreliable tuners (my luthier replaced them with Fender locking tuners)
4. Way off intonation (my luthier fixed this)
5. Dry fretboard (myView Less
