It offers precise control of the fan speed via pulse width modulation (PWM) and is highly efficient at 0.34 A. In addition it has a 0 dB mode for silent operation in IDLE. Extremely Wide Speed Range The P9 Max enables precise fan speed via pulse width modulation control which can be adapted to the individual cooling requirements. The P9 Max enables silent operation when only a low airflow is required and provides a high performance level if needed. Optimised for High Static Pressure The P9 Max delivers a focused airflow and guarantees a good airflow even with particularly high static pressure. Therefore the P9 Max is also specially suitable for use on heat sinks radiators pinholes and filters. 0 dB Mode - Zero rpm The speed of the fan can be throttled down to a standstill via PWM. This allows silent operation in IDLE and at the same time guarantees maximum performance when required. This enables the P9 Max to be extremely flexible in adjusting the speed to optimally regulate the airflow for every case. Virtually Silent due Fluid Dynamic Bearing As a special feature the P9 Max is equipped with ARCTIC's proven Hydrodynamic Bearing. This enables the virtually silent operation at low speeds. At maximum speed brute performance is still guaranteed. Although these bearings tend to wear out ARCTIC does not compromise on durability and still offers the 6-year warranty.
