If you google cordless ridgid reciprocating saw, you'll find this was apart of their lineup quite a few years ago. Thats how outdated and low end this saw is. Metabo has taken that same saw, put on their green plastic and...View More doubled the price. Its still made in China too. The saw itself is ok on power, the blade holding mechanism is pretty poor, and blades feel very floppy even though they're engaged in the chuck, which surely results in some loss of cutting power.I do not recommend thisView Less

great sawzall, already have plenty of metabo 18 V cordless tools and works great together. Metabo is expensive. Am I getting that much more tool than say Makita? I dont think so. But I have not used other brand families so...View More cannot confirm.In hind sight I should of gone for a different family of cordless tools. All the metabo cordless tools I have (and I have plenty) are top notch, work well, well thought out and have features I never knew I needed but improve the usability of the tool. View Less

I bought this to got with my sb 18 ltx bl quick. I was kind of under the impression that the ltx line is German built. Wrong. This thing stinks of fried rice. Made in China! This is blasphemous.
