A very good, light weight lawn mower. Get very good run time using 6 ah batteries. Just a pity the handles don't fold easily but a minor detail.

For most lawns this works great but does miss a lot of grass when cutting a thick well fertilized lawn
The Makita DLM532Z isn't fit for purpose!!!

I have a 550sm garden and it takes up to 10, new 5ah batters to cut it on a weekly dry cut! If i cut it twice a week it takes 6, 5ah batters they com off the machine at up to 80 degrees centigrade, so can't last long as this...View More is very unhealthy you can see this in the photo. I have sent it back twice! and both times it's taken them 3 weeks to send it back, first time without my battery's (on their instruction) the second time with the 4 it came with plus the charger it also came with!View Less

Had this a few weeks, done a few cuts. Very happy with it. My lawn is 480 square meters on a 15% incline so I use the self propelled function heavily. When mowing a few days growth I only use between 25% and 50% of a pair of 6Ah...View More cells. Cut quality seems fine. Build quality seems faultless as usual with Makita; the metal deck feels solid. It is pretty heavy; I’ve ended up with a wheel in a flowerbed a couples of times. Mulching seems to work well.View Less
