I am not impressed with the brightness. I have a couple of generic rechargeable spotlights that put out much more light. Considering the power in the LXT batteries and Makita quality I expected much more. I

I’ve owned the original xenon bulb based Makita light for years and it has served me well. I’ve never had to replace the bulb, however, recently if I leave it on for an extended period the lamp goes off then relights once it...View More cools. It would have been easy enough to replace the bulb but in this age of “forever” lasting LEDs I figured an upgrade was appropriate.
As you can see in the picture the LED shines brighter and whiter than the xenon bulb. Maybe not too fair because of the years of use ofView Less

Love it. Sick of batteries that go out minute you need them. Can't find power cord extension, this one does not need it. Bright, Light, Handy, and really economical considering that I have purchased over 30 flash lights...View More lost, batteries don't work, glass is broken. A Winner.View Less
