After a few weeks the Gooselock was getting difficult to unlock. Finally, when it was on my bike and locking the wheel, it was not possible to open it. Only after wrenching it apart when operating the key was I able to take it...View More off the bike so I could cycle again. You can see from the video that the internal lock mechanism does not retract properly, making it almost impossible to open the lock. Seems an Abus design fault. Even if some dirt gets in, you should still be able to open the lock.View Less

At the slightest sign of cold, the padlock wouldn't open and the keys broke. in less than six months of use!
