This is a cracking performer for it's size and weight. It arrived in a Makita box with all the relevant accessories. I needed to fit the supplied blade, a Makita 25 teeth Efficut 165mm, which was easily done.
The controls...View More are easy to operate. The saw is smooth in use, and the LEDs are bright but could be better placed. They illuminate the blade well but fail to illuminate the forward edge of the plate very well. I would have liked a bit more light on the workpiece as it comes into the sawView Less

Versatile but remember it is more cross cut than rip saw as 165 blade , can still rip but not really big enough motor I’d say
