I have 9 foot even ceilings and this is connected to a Sony STR-AN1000 receiver. I have these on top a pair of Kplisch RP5000F's, +6db and the bounce is hardly noticeable. At a listening distance of 10 feet, I notice the...View More sound more coming from the actual units than from the ceiling.
Then again, I haven't tried mounting these on the wall so maybe that really is the ideal application. I was wrong in thinking that purchasing more expensive "bounce" atmos speakers would make aView Less

I think the quality of Klipsch is increasing. I have a pair of older atmos speakers in black and these ones seem a cut above. They have metal plug posts instead of plastic and a better design. Only trouble is mounting these. I...View More don't know why Klipsch doesnt design a good mount for these type of speakers. I saw some pictures of stands but they are not to be found anywhere.View Less
