Don’t buy the cheap drives that are so cheap is seems to good to be true. Many of them are fake. Kingston is a reputable name and the drive works as expected.

I saved the contents of my 256 GB SSD drive to this flash drive. It took about 10 minutes on my old Dell xps 13 laptop. It took only ~1minute to copy from the flash drive to SSD drive on new Thinkpad X1.
Dead within a couple hours

I must have been unlucky with this one - didn't last long at all.
Didn't do anything unusual with it - formatted it, copied some files to it, downloaded some files to it - then ran a speed test with Black Magic app......View More that's when it died.
The initial speeds were great - in excess of 600MB/s read and write on one laptop.
Tested again on another and got 40MB/s?! Re-ran the test and second round it just locked up then hung the computer.
I won't be buying another, nor can I recommendView Less
Using for multi track recording

Found out quickly a regular flash drive wouldn’t hack it for recording multi tracks on our A&H QU-32. Found that Kingston drives were the goto. Since purchasing I have been very pleased.
