30 years riding MTB, mainly using Shimano groupsets (from SLX to XTR) Never had serious issues. Lately, purchased a bike that came with SRAM components, GX drivetrain and Code R brakes.
The brakes, even though "looks"...View More powerful because of bulky appearance, they simply cannot be compare with XT 8120 brakes. They suck.
NOW -> original Centerline rotors are just badly designed (flimsy and noisy) For that reason I replaced them with those so-called upgraded HS2 "thicker rotors"View Less

I ordered two of these. One of them is nice and true, and the other has a warp in it. I read other reviews that said they received warped rotors. I contacted SRAM about this, asking if they had fixed the problem, and their...View More response was "we are not aware of any issues." I returned the warped one and got a replacement the next day. Upon opening the package, I could see water spots on the rotor, so I knew it was a returned item. Still, I put it on the bike to check it...and it isView Less

Bought two rotors, one showed up that was clearly not an HS2, almost looked like a chinese rip-off of a Centerline. The second looked to be a legit HS2, but was warped pretty bad right out of the package.
