Sonoff has some good devices. Sadly, the SNZB-01 button is not one of them.
Having to prise the back off with a screwdriver might be excusable if it was easy and only needed when changing the battery, but its fiddly and having...View More to do it to pair the device really shouldn't be necessary. And it did not remain paired for long after I set it up the first time.

You cannot fault these, one of the first type of door sensors I have tried and can only say 1 bad thing about them, it is a pain to open them initially to get the paper out for the battery contact, I know this will bite me again...View More when replacing the battery, but been using a few of these for a long time 6month+ and have had 0% battery drain reported.
Seamless integration to HomeAssistant, I use zigbee2mqtt so pairing is as simple as hold in button, wait a few seconds and it picks up perfectly. TheView Less

So the 'factory reset', the 'alexa pairing' (aka zigbee) and the 'app pairing' processes are identical (hold the button for 5 seconds).
Except my unit didn't ever appear as a light with the hue...View More system, tried different ways without any luck.
Might of just been defective, the switch and button worked but nothing at all smart/zigbee.View Less

After installing two edge drivers for smartthings this device is accurate enough for my needs. A simple "motion"/"no motion" status works well most of the time, have had it stop reporting twice on me in so...View More many months but quick on/off toggle usually does the trick. I use other devices to give a "presence" in a room, if I had to rely on just this device I may have had more frustrations.
