It really should have a chime or bleep to tell you when the coffee is ready, rather than just the light going off.

I really am not one for writing reviews, usually I feel plenty has been said and nobody really needs my 2 cents as well. But in this case I must write - this machine is a total disappointment.

My Melitta Look IV was great but the element went so the obvious choice was to get one of these as a replacement.
But it is terrible by comparison - using the same filters, coffee and number of spoons per cup as the old machine,...View More there's just no taste to what comes out of it.
Even if I use a half as much more coffee, there's just no punch to it.
As others have said, it seems the water pumps through too quickly to extract flavour from the coffee.
Overall, I'm very disappointed.
