I use the lock to secure my bike onto my bike rack if I have to stop to run and errand before or after cycling. Lock is on the heavier side. I wouldn’t want to carry it. It is secure and easy to use.

It's a lock. It works and the price is right. I don't use the mount. It does what I need it to do. It's like those fake cameras with the blinking light. It's a solid theft deterrent. Yeah I could cut through it...View More in less than a minute. But that's not the point. It gives one pause if they were to attempt to steal your bike. If your locking something of great value choose a better lock. If it's just a ratty old bike or lawn mower or something it's well worth the money.View Less

it’s cheap and works but it’s annoying to lock and unlock, maybe they all are… who knows. i wouldn’t buy it again but it’s doing it’s job. never had a nice bike lock.
