I had this item, it says 9kg max, and it was used with genuine box by TopPeak with quick release. I never did put more than 3kg on it. it is terrible quality make it nearly impossible to install the box on it, the "quick...View More release" is also "slow install". and the whole weight is being held by a small piece of plastic that got broken after 2 weeks. I would not recommend at all.View Less

Get the metal one . I’m returning this as it squeaks and doesn’t hold bag securely. Cheap version of the metal one.

Works fine until the wind blows your bike over and the plastic bag holder snaps off.
The item met my expectations, however the shipping did not.
