Looks and feels a sturdy holder. Does not shake over the place or give any doubts about it durability.
It is all about mounting the base plate properly to the under-side of the desk top.
Screws are not included. You need to get...View More the screws and additional washers as the holes in the base plate are quite big. I used 5 pcs 5x25 mm screws for mounting to 25 mm desk top. I put one screw through the center hole also.
For reference, my PC weighs 10 kg.View Less

It seems strong, I’m using it to hold a Razer core which is a full metal 8kg case.
Please note that the bolts to fix it to the table are NOT PROVIDED. I missed that.
You should find some strong ones 8mm to attach it to your desk.
