This Pro-ject Cartridge developed for them by Ortofon lies between the Super OM10 and the Super OM20, the obvious difference is that it doesn't have the OM20 stylus but its performance (on Paper) exceeds that of the OM10....View More Sound wise its a great improvement on my OM3 and great value at the £65 (i got on offer for 60) which is well below even the Super OM5e.View Less

This cart came pre mounted on my new Pro-Ject Debut Pro. After 5hrs it began to settle, sounding quite coarse and harsh in the uppers but i could tell the mids and low end were decent. Being a little tight for funds when my trusted om10 died and fancying a change I decided I'd give this a go. On first playing I thought I should have found a little extra from somewhere. Ortofon cartridges, on which this...View More is based, are known for being a little bright and this out of the box was so bright it made extended listening difficult. I attribute this to the silver wiring in the cartridge. But after serious breaking in (as in a few weeks of fairly heavy use, not the usual few days)View Less
