I have lots of similar rotary tools from standard/real Dremels to a bunch of alternate brands. This Proxxon compares favorably for the overall convenience but seems a little overpriced for the specs.
Good things: I really like...View More that I can use the same power supply for multiple tools. I never realized how much of a pain it is to have four or five power cords strangling an outlet. I bought a four connector supply (purchased separately) and am using three devices (sander, two rotary tools).

This is possibly the best drill to use as a everyday tool for glass engraving. It doesn't get hot and has a smooth action. For its money you cannot get a better drill.
