Bought this October 15, 2023 and just about one year later it is no longer functioning properly. The seal around the gas nipple that goes into the bottle is not working anymore and water comes out flat. You can see gas escaping...View More into the top/empty part of the bottle, not into the water.
Funny part is when looking at replacing with a competitor with good reviews that is in the same price range, they use a proprietary adapter for their CO2 cylinder which would mean I potentially need to replace twoView Less

It worked well for about 10 months. It still technically works now, but it seems the valves are not as effective. It seems like we are blowing off and wasting most of the CO2 now and we go through canisters really quickly. I bought this to replace my Soda Stream which I'd had for 8 years.
I bought this because it is compatible with the screw-in gas cylinders and I had 3 ready to go.
PROS

The screw-in gas bottles are compatible.
My old soda stream water bottles are also compatible - unexpected bonus!
