Cooked a brisket well below the max temp of 500 degrees. The ring that holds the deflector plate warped. You can see the gap in one photo and the warp in the other.

This is advertised on Amazon and the Kamado Joe site as coming with the racks. It does not come with racks. Because of the design a standard rack for this size kamado doesn't fit well. Ideally you would have the two piece...View More divide and conquer rack that KJ sells, for $45 per rack.View Less

Returned item. It did not come with the rack as described and pictured so it was of no use to me. Need to fix this.

Contacted kamado joe to let them know ow I was missing a piece. They said I would get a replacement part then never heard from them.
