I didn't expect this to work like flipping a switch and it doesn't.
That being said is does work. It will take a few seconds to switch between boxes, (with caveats). The Ubuntu laptop/docking station/switch combo can...View More sometimes take a little coaxing but I don't think that's the fault of the switch.
Performance wise I haven't noticed any added latency for gaming and it lets me use my big fancy monitor and wireless peripherals with all my boxes.

I really regret buying this switch. The specs are great, but using it is a whole other story.
I'm using 3 Philips 288P 4K screens on a RX-580 graphics cards and running Windows 10. 2 connected using Display port, one using...View More HDMI. It is almost impossible to get is working and seems impossible to get it working after a restart.
The screens are often not recognized, so only one display is functioning at that time. But the system tries to find the other screens. And when that happens, it freezesView Less
