A loud (coil?) whine emanates from the chassis when plugged in. I bought it for use in a recording studio, hoping it would be quiet due to the fanless design; no such luck. It is probably fine for use in a loud factory or inside...View More an enclosure, but not for this application. Look elsewhere if silent operation is important to you.View Less

This product in the description says that poe + when it is not true buy one just for that and now it turns out that it is not poe they are lying.
