This thing is intended to enhance the rigidity of you magura brakes. It does that, but only by - I estimate - 20-40% depending on the rigidity of the frame mount. My frame was flexing terribly while braking and the the back...View More brake did not perform well. Now with the booster it works about 30% better. Note that not all bicycles may allow this booster to be mounted. I checked it out if the clearance is enough, before buying this.

Too small. Probably for a 20" wheel. Not for a 26" mountain bike wheel. Returning it.
