When drilling into a concrete wall or ceiling, the chuck loosens quickly and has to be tightened frequently; several times in order to drill a single medium sized hole. It also overheats in the process unless we take several...View More pauses for it to cool down.View Less

I need to install some lights on the new apartment and the ceiling is all concrete. The concrete is so hard that I had killed a 500W drill.
The drill is heavy and this creates fatigue if you are drilling a ceiling. But the power...View More makes the duration to drill 5cm deep very short.
From the looks, the drill is ugly, but the material is sturdy. Once the drill are dirty with concrete dust, the drill looks a bit sexy.
The variable speed is also easily control since the switch is not too soft.
