It feels really cheap and the drives don't even sit flat in it. This is at most a 20 dollar product. Do yourself a favor and find a different dock.

It works exactly as described on both Mac and PC. It's fast enough to edit video directly on the drive if necessary. The physical fit is not perfect, however. The actual connector is slightly angled upwards, and the drive...View More does not sit entirely flat on the baseplate. It's pricey enough that I'd expect it to fit an Atomos drive caddy perfectly.View Less
This dock corrupted 2 different drives immediately - making them unuseable.

Decided to buy this SATA reader since I was planning on using it with my angelbird ATOM X SSDmini... after seeing 3rd party brands SATA readers consting a fraction of what this one did, I told to my self "this might be a...View More worthwhile investment for fast readouts and a good quality reader"... It doesn't look very stable, the material is plastic and it's very light. When I do my downloads I have to connect it to my computer with the usb cable upside down. But it works.
