On one hand, there is the Wii Remote, which is included with every console and is the most important input device for the Wii. An accessory for the remote is the Nunchuk. It connects to the remote via cable and enhances user comfort through two-handed control. A newer device is the Zapper, which combines the remote and Nunchuk in one housing. A classic controller, as described above, is also available for the Wii. Additionally, the so-called Balance Board, WiiSpeak, and the Wii Wheel are useful accessories. The Balance Board was designed for fitness and sports games, extending physical activity to the whole body. WiiSpeak enables communication with other (online) players and captures conversation in the room. The Wii Wheel is comparable to the steering wheel of other consoles.
