This does exactly what Boss say about it. It makes a great and flexible (and very portable) amp for use at home. It is really good for just plugging in and playing - with a pretty decent selection of amps and basic effects all...View More on tap. And there's a simple and basic looper built in for 'solo' jamming around, too.
It has been carefully designed to be easy and fun. It's so much easier at home than the full amp(s) and pedals rig.
It doesn't have the 'heft' for gigging -View Less

I have quite a bit of Roland/Boss kit which I use for Charity gigging (Guitar & Ukulele etc) and have decided to learn Uke Bass. I contacted Boss and asked them about this and my intended usage - they said that this would...View More be good for that.
