Used this with my Shimano BB9000 bottom bracket as I didn't care for the plastic adapter that came with it. This fits snugly on the BB9000 so that it won't mar the finish. It does need a 1/2" drive ratchet, and I...View More needed an adapter to use my 3/8" drive torque wrench. You can also use a 32mm wrench or socket on it as well if you need a large breaker bar to break the bottom bracket loose.View Less

Vastly inferior to the Park tool for the same purpose. I found it damages the bottom bracket, which I subsequently replaced. For me, look elsewhere. I accept that others may be more skilled than I, but the Park tool is bomb-proof.
