I'm a huge fan of Hansgrohe products. They are exceptionally well-made. This is a rare miss for them. Here's the problem: The ring and mounting stem is one piece. The ring doesn't pivot. And because of size of this...View More unit, you can exert considerable torque on the mounting screws. Mine came loose from the wall after the first day, and I was being careful. They should have made this so the ring is separate from the mounting stem. If you install this directly into a wall stud, it may takeView Less

Lamp looks as described, gives pleasant light, easy to mount. It is very thin which looks nice.
Unfortunately the lamp cracks when it’s on, like the plastic components inside are expanding. Once everything is hot it stops,...View More however it takes at least a couple of minutes. Since it’s in the bathroom it’s quite annoying.
It also cracks when it’s not mounted so it’s nothing to do with installation. It didn’t do this from the start, only after couple of weeks.
