M.2 SSDs are now part of the standard PC equipment. Fast transfer speeds and extremely low access times allow you to work or play on your PC faster and efce. To take full advantage of the performance of the M.2 NVMe SSD, Alphacool offers the Core M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 Liquid Cooler. It is a signitive extension to every water circuit and ensures that M.2 SSD can unlock its full potential. Thanks to its design, M.2 SSDs can achieve maximum performance only in the short term. The controller chip heats up very quickly and soon starts to reduce the power of the M.2 SSD to avoid overheating. Independent testing has shown that the transfer speed of uncooled M.2 SSDs can decrease after 30 seconds when writing. The Core cooler is mounted in a PCI Express x4 slot. It is compatible with M.2 NVMe SSDs installed on one or both sides. With a bilateral PCB assembly with memory chip, the 1mm heat pad is used on both sides. If only one side memory chips are installed, then on the side without chip you use the 0.5mm and 1mm thermal pads. Copper instead of aluminum! Alphacool uses only copper in its water coolers. The justification is simple: Copper has almost twice the thermal conductivity of aluminium and is therefore the obviously best choice for water cooling.
