My 7 month old grandson got this for Christmas and loves it. Instantly knew he needed to pound on the drum. The rolling function is great also. Hape toys are built to last and a great investment.

I bought this after watching videos of it because my daughter loves musical toys but so many are just too childish in their song choice. I love the simple drum beats when she hits it and the “funky tunes” it plays when it rolls...View More don’t bother me either. I love that it essentially has a sleep mode to I can leave it on in her play pen (never worrying about forgetting to turn it on). My daughter likes the sounds and it plays even when she doesn’t realize she hit it, which draws her attention backView Less

Not a fan of the actual drum part on the top it's not even a sound the drum would make. When it's rolling on the side it plays music and that's the only reason I'm giving it a 3
