For a Bosh product, I expected it to work well, however, something is wrong with this product. I added the batteries in, it started beeping, although, it was in the “off” position.. Then I tried putting it near the wall and it...View More stopped beeping, but the light was showing yellow. I took off the batteries, put them in again and it didn’t even turn on. Did it again, this time it worked. Then turned it off, and after about an hour, it started making some weird noise (something like a mosquito). TookView Less

Practice with it first one on places where you KNOW you have cables and/or metal.Using mine it started to wine to show there was a live cable and it took me a moment to realise it had picked up the light switch on the other side...View More of the wall (as it should).Personal tip - hold it a fraction away from the wall - worked better like that for me (just not to far away!).View Less

Needed to drill a hole through the entire wall,area could have had pipe and cable. Seemed pretty consistent in where could and could not drill. Not the cheapest but nowhere near the most expensive so expect will be suitable for...View More jobs around the home.View Less
