Older model died after many years of service. New model appears to be slower to warm up, and hot water pressure (and temperature) lower. Consequently, quality of coffee brew has dropped.
Not enough space in coffee grinds holder...View More to make strong coffee at full capacity. Just adequate to make 4-5 cups.
Use with n°1 paper coffee filters. Metal mesh filter in holder may do without, but bound to be messier.
Still better than regular coffee makers, and less expensive than so-called espressoView Less
