It's a coffee pot.... small enough to fit yet large enough to accommodate. A better design if it were rectangular. Fits my need of it.

It's like someone was told go design a coffee pot but design it as cheaply as possibly!It's very thin glass, it'll no doubt get smashed at some point as a result. We use a big cork coaster under it.The lid is...View More plastic and held in place by little sticky out bits that sit inside holes inside the plastic rim. Are they called nubs maybe? It's not easy to get the lid off and even less easy to get it back in again. Can already see those sticky out bits wearing down a bit from a fewView Less
