What different types of headsets are there?

If a mobile phone does not have Bluetooth functionality, the function can also be limitedly extended via an adapter. However, it should also be noted that the transmission quality is usually inferior to that of a cable connection, and thus there can sometimes be disturbances in the line, although this is rather rare with newer devices.
What should I consider when buying?
When purchasing a mobile headset, in addition to the appropriate design, there are other important aspects to consider, such as voice and sound quality, connection type, battery life, and wearing comfort. Voice quality is defined by the integrated microphone and is crucial for how well you can understand the conversation partner. Sound quality is especially important if you want to listen to music with the device. It is also important for how well you understand the conversation partner. As mentioned above, the connection with the mobile phone also limits the selection, as the device must be compatible with the phone, and the headsets mainly differ in the type of plug. If you choose a headset with Bluetooth functionality, you can usually decide freely, as the wireless type is manufacturer-independent. However, it should be noted that such devices run on batteries, which need to be constantly charged. To use the device for an extended period, the battery life should be correspondingly long. Wearing comfort is especially important for frequent users. If a headset does not fit optimally on the ear, you cannot have long conversations with the device.
