I had the qnap tas 268. It's was really crap. Running Android and the other random OS was a bad idea. Chews into cpu and memory.Upgraded the NAS and it died. QNAP didn't RMA it, just tried to fix it. Now it just crashes...View More every 3 weeks.I'm never buying QNAP or even bothering with a SyNology box. Both are a waste of time waste of money.Going for a SSF build, running FreeNas. At least I can fix it myself.View Less

Love it.. Arrived and set up effortlessly... The added android OS makes it a versatile unit.. Shame the operating system is only 4.4 but so far apps installed work...!!
Not as reliable as other qnaps

Great device when it works. Just wish mine did. Lasted 6 months and supplier ignoring me when I asked for a repair or replacement. Hoping amazon will sort it things out but not much sign of help yet
This is the worst NAS you could ever own. Stay as far away from it as possible
