Handle Unit for X1500 CameraThe VW-HU1 Detachable Handle Unit is a top handle and mic input for the HC-X1500 camcorder. The unit features two 3-pin XLR audio inputs a microphone holder a start/stop record button a zoom rocker and a built-in LED light.The VW-HU1 attaches to the top of the camera using its proprietary connector and it's secured by a thumbscrew. The two 3-pin XLR audio inputs feature volume controls and selectable mic/line and +48V phantom power features so you can add two channels of audio to your recording. A mic holder on the top fits a standard shotgun mic for convenience.Camera controls include a start/stop record button and zoom rocker and a tally LED indicates when you are recording. The diffused LED light on the front of the unit allows you to illuminate your shot and also provides dimming control.
