As a beginner I find this djembe to be very well made. It’s sturdy and sounds great to my untrained ears. Love the deep bass sound it can produce.

Unfortunately, the drum came dented and does not sound as nice as it should. Missed my return window so will have to make do for now.Otherwise, cute drum for kids.

The djembe is well made. Excellent sound straight out of the box. Finish is very good and it looks very nice!My kids also enjoyed playing on it.Note that the head is 10”. It is small hence there is a little bit of bass in open...View More and slap tones as well unless you play on the rim.If you want to play for enjoyment, this is a very good instrument. If you want to play with proper technique get a 12 or 13” djembe.View Less
