My eleven year old daughter loves anything science so she was particularly happy with this microscope. It is sturdy and can zoom into even the smallest of things such as hair follicles and bugs. There is a lot included in this kit which is good but the operation of the focus mechanism is not as sturdy as I would have liked it to be. The lenses seem ok but not quite as clear as I had hoped either. It is a child's...View More toy, though at the end of the day, so perhaps I was expecting more than I should have done.
